**At the time of this post, the item(s) listed are at the prices indicated.  Prices can fluctuate as fast as spring weather on the A.T. though, especially on Amazon. So make sure to verify you’re still getting a good deal when you click on the links!

Huge savings right now at REI on some of the most popular Big Agnes and Nemo Tents on the trail!

Here’s a quick look at what you’ll find with Big Agnes, but this is just scratching the surface of all the models included in the markdowns.  You can find all of them on sale right here.

Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL Tent

Big Agnes Fly Creek HV Ul 1-person tent
The Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL 1-Person Tent is 50% off, bringing it to $174.95 from an original retail price of $349.95!

Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL Tent

The Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL 2 Tent with Mtn. Glo Lights is 50% off, bringing it to $219 from an original price of $439.95!

According to a survey, this was the second most popular 2-person tent on the A.T. in 2018!  At 2 lb. for a 2-person tent, it’s easy to see why.

The 1-person version of the Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL Tent with Mtn Glo Lights is also on sale for $199 which is 50% off from $400!

Big Agnes Rattlesnake tent

The Rattlesnake models of Big Agnes tents are offered at 20-60% off!  These are a bit heavier than some of the other Big Agnes tents, but if you’re on a tight budget and just want a quality tent at the best price, this is hard to beat right now.  The 2-person version is actually less expensive than the 1-person model!

All 3 of these models hav mtnGLO lights built in too.  Here’s the breakdown on the sale prices for all three:

Big Agnes Rattlesnake 1-person Tent $149.73 (50% off)

Big Agnes Rattlesnake 2-Person Tent $139.73 (60% off!)

Big Agnes Rattlesnake 3-Person Tent $319.73 (20% off)

Hi Steven—unfortunately you can’t get it for this price anymore if the link takes you to the full price. I just share deals when I find them from various retailers but they often sell out if they’re popular and get changed back to the regular price. I’d encourage you to join my Facebook group linked to this post so you can stay up to date on the current deals I’m posting. 😊

I really wanted to like your site. Every and I mean EVERY tent I clicked on was either not available or the price is to even close to what you’re showing. Why do you even have this site of you either show false deals or fail to update?

Hi Steven, I’m sorry you are finding my site a disappointment. I only post sales as I find them. If the item sells out, the retailer either shows the product as unavailable or reverts it to the full price again, if the sale ends. I do try to make note of this on each post at the very top (that the sale price is accurate at the time of the post, but it can change at any point). If I neglected to add that disclaimer on some of these posts that you’ve looked at, my apologies. Sometimes I’m scurrying to post a deal that I know is fairly time sensitive and I forget to add that disclaimer. It’s an honest mistake though. And the reason I don’t go back in and update all of them is because it would take a massive amount of time and work to do so. My blog is largely a hobby and I have to pay my bills with my job as a veterinarian. I’d love to have the time to devote to that task, but the reality is that I do not.

And since you asked about the reason I have my site, it is primarily to help educate others as to good gear choices and ways to keep them safe in the backcountry. I am a search and rescue team member (volunteer based) and our team supports the second busiest county for SAR missions in North Carolina. In other words, we go out looking for quite a few lost and/or injured hikers. I spend a great deal of my free time educating people on preparedness topics (and I also volunteer to do this–it’s not a job that pays me). My blog is just one more channel to reach people and help them learn. I post these deals to help them make good gear choices and to save a few bucks in the process. But I also have an extensive amount of content on outdoor education and trail reports.

I can assure you that I’m an ethical and honest person, and the intent of this blog is not to mislead anyone. If you’d like to join my Facebook group, that’s where you’ll find the most up-to-date listings of the items I post on sale, as they happen. It’s a wonderful group of folks in there and we have a lot of lively conversation on all things gear and outdoor education. I also host biweekly Facebook Lives to help educate people on various topics.

Have a wonderful day and I wish you the very best! 🙂
