We looked at the photo album from the first year of his life today. This time, nine years ago, I was finally cradling him in my arms after waiting all my life to meet him. I had already been awake for 36 hours but I would hardly sleep a wink that night. Love at first sight can do that to you.
In the blink of an eye, he is nine. NINE!! How on Earth did that happen?! It really does fly.
